Passive Optical Network (PON) is a P2MP network architecture built on unpowered optical splitters to enable a single fiber to serve up to 256 subscribers.\u00a0PON consists of Optical Line Terminal (OLT), Optical Distribution Network (ODN) and Optical Network Terminal (ONT); OLT and ONT belong to active part, whereas ODN is passive part.\u00a0FTTX five traditional application scenarios:\u00a0FTTH -SFU\/HGU\/ for Home, FTTR – Fiber to the room, FTTB -Fiber to the buildin, FTTM- PTP 1588V2 transfer through PON, POL Campus Application.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n
